What information do we collect?

The Young Lives Bradford Consortium hold information about you and your young person details which include your name, address, date of birth, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, special needs and contact information.

 

Who uses this Information?

YLBC uses this information to help families and young people to access the right support services from our Provider organisations- Barnardo’s; E:merge; JAMES; Project 6 ; YMCA.

 

Why do we use this information?

We use this information to help us identify the best Consortium support service for the young person that will improve their life experience and keep them safer.

YLBC will hold information about your young person’s engagement with the programme to assist with reviewing the programme and reporting to the programme funders.

 

What authority do we have to collect this information?

Under Bradford Council Procurement procedures YLBC have been duly selected to delivery a service to young people. YLBC have selected, through procurement practise, 5 youth organisations to deliver services to support young people.

 

Who will we share your information with ?

YLBC will share this information with the selected Provider organisations.

 

How will be keep this information secure?

Your information is stored securely on database and management systems with stringent access and use practises. We undertake quality checks and monitoring to ensure the information we hold is accurate at the time and being used appropriately.

 

How long do we keep this information?

Your information is kept for 6 years following service use or sooner according to the length of the Commissioned contract.

 

What are your rights?

You have the right to request that YLBC stop using your personal data in relation to services.
